They rehearse together at the PAC July 9, 10 and 11. there is a closing concert for parents on 7/11 and I do not know if public is invited. Leave for London on the 12th.
Visit: London England, Paris France, Crans-Montana Switzerland (also visit Zermat), visit Lichtenstein, Seefeld Austria, Innsbruck Austria, Rothenburg Germany (near Munich, they also visit Dachau), visit Venice Italy, return to Rothenburg and then home.
The info I have shows the following concerts, if I am wrong, then perhaps one of the tour leaders can correct this list:
London: 7/15 12:30PM @ Victoria Embankment All
Paris: 7/18 2:00PM @ St. Severin Church Choir/Orchestra
Paris: 7/18 4:00PM @ Square St. jean XXIII (near Notre Dame) Band
Crans-Montana: 7/20 8:30PM @ Town Tent All
Seefeld: 7/22 9:00PM unannounced venue Choir/Orchestra??
Innsbruck: 7/23 5:30PM @ Concert in the Park ALL
Rothenburg: 7/26 2:00 @ town center Band
Rothenburg: 7/26 4:00PM @ Holy Ghost Church?? Choir/Orchestra
I've rarely had business trips oversees with so many stops! Very intense schedule. Should be a great experience. Wish I were there!!

The NE Ambassadors of Music left yesterday, they ought to be hitting their hotel in London right about now.
The group ended up putting up their own website at:
http://home.comcast.net/~smetevier/
that has more capability than this site: picture albums in addition to "blogs" or comments.
Should be a good trip. Part of me wishes I were there, but with their intense schedule, most of me is glad I'm not!
For you who missed it, there was an article in the Eagle Trib on Friday about the group:
http://www.eagletribune.com/archivesearch/local_story_193011301.html
The farewell concert on Friday was awesome. The group put on a 2 hour performance that didn't include all their pieces. It seems as though they will offer varying programs throughout their trip. I must say, the band's rendition of The Stars and Stripes Forever" sounded a lot like the Boston Pops - great job! And the orchestra's "Hoedown" was super - almost as good as Emerson Lake and Palmer's version from back in the '70s.

Looks like the trip is going along well so far. I bel;ive they are touring Venice today and will be moving to Germany tomorrow. The kids will tour Dachau, the infamous concentration camp, which hwould open their eyes a little...
Pictures of concerts can be found at:
